” I’ve been a huge Motorsport fan since childhood. I vividly remembered my first F1 experience in Shanghai back in 2004 when I was only 8 years old (the first ever Grand Prix in China!) I dreamed about becoming a racing driver ever since, and started some go karts and eventually competed my first touring car racing in 2012. (I was 16 and had my career first win in the same year). Did more years of touring car until 2016 where I was lucky to be part of a new GT racing program. Since then have been competing GT3 machinery in China and around Asia. Joining many local and international championships, notably GT world challenge Asia, Asian Le Mans Series and the Macau Grand Prix. podiums and wins in respective series. “

When asked about his projects with the XC02 Cross Car, David told us he is “working closely with local ASN in Zhejiang Province to promote this new category in FIA’s pyramid of racing”, following by stating that “currently there is no racing of such category in China.
