40 000 spectators (almost exclusively young people) were present on the Bugatti circuit at LE MANS for the first edition of the Grand Prix Explorer. More than 1 Million people connected on theTwitch channel of SQUEEZIE, the leading French YouTuber creating French audience record and 5th best global performance on Twitch.
The show and audio-visual content were as good as a Formula 1 Grand Prix, when on that same day in Japan, we had to wait hours just to be able to know that Super Max won the F1 title for the 2nd consecutive year.
All this was a crazy bet from SQUEEZIE who had invited 22 of the best-known French YouTubers and streamers to experience a Formula 4 race. They trained specifically for this event and some of them even took their driving licence for the occasion. The operation was brilliantly managed by the FFSA ACADEMY team, using the Generation 2 MYGALE F4 cars from the French F4 Championship.
An amazing breath of fresh air that made the event commentators say « it is as if it was for real…but in fact it is ». Proof that motor sport is a wonderful vector of emotion.
